The Arizona Community Foundation's Black Philanthropy Initiative, in partnership with ACF's Center for LGBTQ Philanthropy and eight like-minded nonprofit organizations, aims to increase awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic among African Americans in Arizona, who have significantly higher rates of HIV infection over any other race. Our primary goal is to stop the spread of the disease through education and testing.

A cycle of new infections fueled by stigma and a host of other issues hampers access to HIV prevention, testing and treatment services. Please join us for the Blacks and HIV/AIDS Town Hall of key community stakeholders.

As you plan for this meeting ask yourself, "What can I do to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in the Black community?"

These organizations have joined with ACF in presenting the Blacks and HIV/AIDS Town Hall:

Ebony House

Aunt Rita's Foundation

Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS

Native Health

Vitalyst Health Foundation

Mountain Park Health Centers

Black Chamber of Arizona
